Application Process FAQ

HOW DOES ONLINE STUDY WORK?

Online study allows you the flexibility to complete a qualification from the comfort of your own home. The curriculum has been designed to allow anyone with internet access to study anytime day or night. You are provided with a password to help access the student portal and from here you can complete the lectures and assessments from anywhere in the world. Each unit has a stipulated timeframe, though extensions may be granted.

WHY DO MY DOCUMENTS NEED TO BE CERTIFIED? WHO CAN CERTIFY THEM?

Official documents need certifying to prove they are true copies of the original document. Examples of these documents can include any previous educational certificates, proof of citizenship or driving license or passport.

Documents can be certified by a Justice of the Peace or by person who is authorised as a witness for statutory declarations under Schedule 2 of the Oaths, Affidavits and Statutory Declarations Act 2005.

Examples of people who can certify are available at the following website: http://www.bdm.dotag.wa.gov.au/_files/BDM50_Certify_Documents.pdf.

WHEN CAN I COMMENCE MY STUDIES?

If you wish to study on-campus, please contact us for the semester start dates. If you want to study online, our schedules are available online with our monthly start dates. Both on-campus and online schedules are available on our website.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION?

Once your application to study has been submitted, our administration team will contact you, to arrange a pre-enrolment interview. This allows you to discuss the most suitable qualification, study load and pathway appropriate to your needs. It is also an ideal opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

WHERE DO I COMPLETE MY PRACTICAL TRAINING?

WA - Aspire Medispa - City, Perth
NSW - Aspire Medispa - Crows Nest, Sydney
VIC - Aspire Medispa - Hawthorn East, Melbourne
QLD - Gray Clay - Southport, Gold Coast

IS THIS COURSE RECOGNISED OVERSEAS?

Australian qualifications are held in high regard by countries around the world. We suggest when travelling overseas that you take your unit learning outcomes to demonstrate knowledge covered as well as your certificates.

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH MY COURSE?

The course fees are available upon request for all courses. The fees do not include necessary textbooks to provide additional reading resources.

If for any reason a student does not complete their unit within the allocated time frame, they can apply for an extension prior expiry. Students are allowed one (1), two-week extension for an 8-week unit and two (2), two-week extensions for a 16-week unit. Each extension for each unit will incur a fee.

If a student decides to change their study load from full time to part-time or part-time to unit per unit for example, they will incur a change of study load fee.

Failure to compete a unit successfully will require re-enrolment into that unit at the current full unit fees.

WHAT KIND OF SUPPORT WILL I GET DURING MY STUDIES?

You will be allocated an Assessor for each unit you undertake and they are your support for that subject. Assessors are available via email as most work off-campus, however if you need to discuss any matters or require immediate assistance someone at head office will be available to help with your query.

HOW MANY DAYS A WEEK DO I STUDY ON CAMPUS?

If you choose to study face-to-face you will attend class on-campus approximately 2 to 3 days per week. The number of days you will attend will depend on your study load and this will be discussed at your pre-enrolment interview.
