Health and Dermal Therapies Make a Beautiful Combination
Are you a health-professional looking for a career change or to extend your services to include dermal therapies?
The Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science is now open to individuals with health-related qualifications other than beauty and/or nursing.
The Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science ensures you have the knowledge and practical skills required to commence your career as a qualified Dermal Therapist. Upon graduation, your career opportunities will encompass the following options:
- Dermal Therapist within a cosmetic medical practice.
- Dermal Therapist within an advanced skin clinic (non-medical).
- Providing an additional service to your current professional services.
- Establishing your own advanced skin clinic (medical or non-medical).
Applications for enrolment are assessed on an individual basis. However the prospective student must meet the following criteria:
- Government accredited or university health-related qualification at diploma level or higher. This may include though not limited to qualifications in natural therapies, health management/promotion, health sciences, physiotherapy, sport sciences, dentistry or dietetics/nutrition.
- A minimum of two years clinical experience in which evidence will be required.
