Tracey Rho
Lecturer for unit 1.2 Dermal Science Human Biology and Practical Trainer for unit 2.2 Dermal Science Practical Workshops
Tracey Rho began her career in Beauty Therapy at the completion of her studies in 1999, achieving the ITEC qualifications – Aestheticienne Diploma, Diploma in Physiatrics, and Diploma in Electrology.
As a practicing therapist with 'top tier' cosmeceutical skincare, she recognised the need for further education in skin science and health studies, to meet the needs of the more discerning skincare client. Tracey's studies encompassed both the clinical and complementary fields, to include further advanced anatomy and physiology, Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda.
In 2001 Tracey was appointed the role of International Trainer for a major spa/resort skincare organization, blending her earlier qualification of Diploma of Teaching with her new educational role in spa training. This role included the development and delivery of training programmes for the Sheraton, J.W. Marriott, and Six Senses Evason resorts throughout Asia and the Maldives, and national accounts in Australia.
An initial sharing of her teaching skills with a national training organization developed into a Principal Lecturer/Course Coordinator position, during which Tracey began her studies with the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science.
Today Tracey coordinates the delivery of Unit 1.2 Dermal Science Human Biology, and assists in curriculum development and practical training for the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science.
